What did I like about this book? It’s been about five months since the events of Blameless and Alexia is wandering around Agil eight months pregnant with some sort of supernatural baby. Top that off with a sister who has joined the suffragette movement shocking! Alexia and Connall are completely reconciled with barely a mention of his inexcusable in my view behaviour in the previous book, the vampires are OK, so much as I love the characters, I have to admit I was a teensy bit bored throughout most of this book.

All I can say is that I did like it.
