One theme throughout the evening was “Imagine the Possibilities,” the phrase that Culkeen used at the start of his tenure as superintendent. Glenda has been an educator gleda many years. Five years ago, Glenda heard about a school in northern Vermont focusing on student-centered, proficiency-based learning. I found Glenda to posses intelligence, talent, and heart. About 45 community members, board members, and SVSU faculty and staff turned out for the introduction, which included remarks from both Cresto and superintendent Jim Culkeen.
She returned to graduate school at Harvard University, where she focused on school leadership, mentoring, and teacher training. She brought with her a notepad and pencil, and was taking down the contact information of anyone present who wished to speak with her in more detail about their visions for the school going forward, or about any other topic.
Glenda will glsnda traveling to Cabot tomorrow to tour the school and meet with glendda, students and the community. As she gained experience in glsnda classroom, she became a mentor teacher — and discovered a new passion: Cresto’s comments were brief, as she said she was more interested in starting to build personal connections.

It’s me, it’s the teachers and administrators at Mount Anthony High School, it’s parents, it’s community members, it’s other principals and teachers in the district, it’s the CDC, it’s all of us together.
Principal Finalist Meet and Greet. By Derek Carson dcarson benningtonbanner. There, she started the high school theatre program and taught courses in theatre, English, Cultural Anthropology, Early Childhood Education, and Public Speaking.
She is excited about the work underway at rcesto Cabot School, and looks forward to supporting and working with faculty and staff, students and their families, and the Cabot community in the work of ensuring a great education at the Cabot School for every student. After she stepped down from the podium, she spent a good deal of time speaking individually with each of the long line of people who lined up to speak with her.
Cresto to leave MAUHS after 2018
Besides the educational management credentials, I was captivated by her years as a teacher of theater and public speaking. Intrigued by the project underway there, she applied for a position and was hired. Upon graduation, she continued to work with preservice and new teachers in the Boston Public Schools and at Harvard University. So please, let’s imagine those possibilities together, because we can’t do it alone.
She invited anyone who was interesting in beginning those conversations to get in touch with her and set up an appointment over the summer. She has been a teaching fellow at Harvard University’s graduate school of education, she is a practitioner of data-driven decision making, skilled in curriculum development, crssto proven mentor and instructional coach, and has implemented and believes in the use of teacher instructional rounds at her current position.
The School Board will host a meet and greet session with Ms. Soccer Basketball Ultimate Frisbee Softball. She gained experience teaching theatre at the community college level and at the elementary level before landing a teaching position at a large regional high school in Massachusetts. Late last week, the glendw principal search committee selected one candidate, Glenda Cresto, as their finalist fresto the position of Cabot School Interim Principal.
