This book is a must for frkm budding graphics programmer. A K Peters, Limited Abingdon: The book is pretty decent as reference, but I personally found myself not using it much for the following reason: Refine Your Search Year.

My idea about this is that I trading mostly a real-time graphics guy, but wanted to do one ray-tracing project just for the sake of it, before diving deep into real-time graphics.
These contain the ray traced images, and build functions for most of the images.
